This Privacy Policy explains what Findr (“we”, “our”) collects through the Findr mobile app and website at myfindr.fun, why we collect it, and your choices.

1. Who we are

Findr is operated by Toma Adkins / TomasEmpire (update the legal entity name with counsel before launch). Privacy questions: contactus@myfindr.fun

2. Data we collect

• Account: email, password hash, 18+ age-gate attestation, and any optional profile fields you provide.
• Profile: display name, bio, photos, orientations, intents, and similar fields you choose to share.
• Location: approximate location used for Nearby discovery (we aim to use coarse / fuzzed distance bands rather than exact pins to other users).
• Messages & media: chats and photos you send or upload.
• Safety: blocks, reports, and related moderation signals.
• Device / logs: technical data needed to run, secure, and debug the service.

3. How we use data

• Create and secure accounts
• Show Nearby results and deliver chat / media
• Enforce 18+ and safety rules (including block / report)
• Improve reliability and prevent abuse
• Comply with law when required

We do not sell personal information in the MVP model described here. Confirm advertising, analytics, and data-sale practices with counsel before launch.

4. Location

Nearby features need location permission from your device. You can revoke OS location permission at any time (Nearby will degrade or stop). Limit visibility using in-app controls when those settings are available.

5. Sharing

• Other users see profile fields you publish and messages / media you send them.
• We may use processors (hosting, storage, crash reporting) under contracts to operate Findr.
• We may disclose information if required by law or to address safety, fraud, or abuse.

6. Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion or inactivity for backups, disputes, and legal needs. Exact retention periods should be set with counsel.

7. Security

We use industry-typical measures such as hashed passwords and HTTPS in production. No method is 100% secure. Use a strong, unique password.

8. Your choices

• Update profile fields in the app
• Log out anytime
• Limit OS location permissions
• Request account / data deletion via in-app Delete account (when available) or by emailing contactus@myfindr.fun

9. Children

Findr is for adults 18+ only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has an account, contact us; we will take steps to remove it.

10. Regional rights

Depending on where you live (for example GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data. This template does not implement every regional notice — counsel should add required disclosures before launch.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. We will post the new date above and, for material changes, try to notify in-app or by email when feasible.
